. 3 Tablespoons Canola oil

. 8 grams active dry yeast

. 1 Tablespoon maple syrup

. 2 Large eggs, divided( One is for the dough and the other is for the egg wash)

. 4 or 4 and half cup which is 630 g approx unbleached flour

. 1 Teaspoon salt

. 3/4 Cup poppy seeds or sesame seeds

. 16 Cups of water

. 1/3 Cup honey

Prepare process of the Montreal Bagle:

. One has to Whisk the warm water and then add sugar with Canola Oil, yeast, egg and syrup. The combo is mixed until the yeast gets fully dissolved. The salt and 1 Cup flour is stir together and then add enough flour which is approximately 3 cups till a soft dough gets formed.

. You can knead dough for 12 minutes and once it gets firm and smooth let the dough rest for 10 minutes which is covered with a bowl.

. Divide the dough into 12 equal parts and roll each of the piece into 8-10 inch rope which then gets curve ends to make a bagel shape.

. See the dough rising for 30 minutes.

. Boil the bagels in honey-water for at-least 45 seconds on both side. Drain excess of water on the paper towel.

. Bake at 425 Degree Fahrenheit for 8-10 minutes and then cool on a wire on the cooling rack.
