About Thanksgiving Day: Thanksgiving day is a national holiday in Canada and is all about thanking for the better harvest along with other fortunes in the past year. It is a national holiday and the people get the day off for the work along with all the schools and the post offices along with many organizations are closed. The public transport also runs less frequently and the people believe in making merry and enjoying the day whether in New Brunswick or the region of Nova Scotia. The thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday of October and people often go for the three-day.

With three days after the two days of weekend people generally plan out as the Thanksgiving day for spending time either with the family or enjoying the outing with the family and friends together.
